Funding opportunites for micro/nano laser-based high value manufacturing 24/10/2008
 
The Association of Laser Users (AILU) in partnership with the Photonics KTN and the Nanotechnology KTN is organising a funding opportunities in High Value Manufacturing focusing on micro/nano laser processing.

To be held on 25 November at the Aston Science Park, Birmingham, UK, the one-day meeting sets out to highlight the opportunities for funding in the application of laser technology to High Value manufacturing and other EU FP7 funding calls.

The scope of the meeting includes presentations from key funding sources as well as case studies illustrating successful projects in previous calls.

The day comprises presentations about funding calls through the Technology Strategy Board, FP7 and the EPSRC. Case studies will be presented by:

GSI Group - Mark Greenwood
Bookham - Mike Wale
BAE Systems - Jadjit Sidhu
Oxford Lasers - Speaker tbc
University of Ulster (TBC)
